information and how to find us
a 20lb Mirror Carp being introduced into Mopley Pond.

Mopley Farm Fishery was formed in 1984 as a trout fishery at Mopley Farm on the Manor of Cadland. The fishery used Mopley Pond for fly-fishing until 1990
when it introduced coarse fish into the water to change
to a coarse fishery, which has proved to be a very popular move amongst the coarse fishing fraternity.

In the spring of 1998 a partnership was formed with the Manor of Cadland to manage the estates waters.
Since then there have been vast improvements to the existing Manor of Cadland waters which along with the new Bilcombes Pond have been completely restocked.

The disabled can now take advantage of two small car parks at Mopley Pond giving them access to four suitable swims or a larger car park at the Upper Dark Lane Pond with access to eight suitable swims, motor campers and caravans are now welcome at the Dark Lane Ponds
